Carrabba's wanted some :15 sec radio spots to promote the fresh seafood on their menu. However, their fish was caught and flown to the restaurants daily and varied by market. And it was served with a chef's sauce, which also changed on a daily basis. All of which made it slightly difficult to describe in mouth-watering detail.

So instead of recording radio spots, I suggested that we have the radio stations do live announcer reads where we’d provide a template with blanks for the fish and sauce of the day – which in turn would be supplied daily by the local Carrabba's. This approach would let listeners know exactly what was on the menu that day while emphasizing the fact that fish at Carrabba's is so fresh, that the selection changed daily.

The client loved this idea - and were thrilled with the results and feedback they got from it.
